Jez, looks at the idea that God would be more approachable, more useful, if he was chilled-out like Buddha. He uses a helpful story to illustrate God’s intense, passionate and deeply personal love for us and shows how this is heaps better than a distant “chill” being. In this talk we can see the suprising nature of God – more than we might imagine, the generous God – who owes us nothing, the deeply compassionate God who goes to great lengths to show mercy to us, and the God who is glad – who rejoices to know us! So much better than chill.
