This term we're jumping back into Paul's second letter to the church he founded in Corinth. Corinth prided itself on having the best. It was obsessed with status, rights and self promotion. Paul desperately pours out his heart to those who have wronged him. Those who would reject a messenger because of his weakness, are at risk of losing hold of the gospel of a 'weak' and 'foolish' saviour. In all of this we’re painted a picture of a gracious God who powerfully redeems messy and broken situations -His desire is to work through the weak and the foolish for his glory as we follow the one who 'was crucified in weakness, yet lives by God’s power'.
