It is fitting that the image of Christmas is a 'light shining in the darkness'. We celebrate something extraordinary and wonderful. God has sent his son, Jesus, so that we're no longer in the dark, wondering if he exits, wondering if he cares, wondering if he will save. He has come! It is true. Everything is different. Lives are changed. It is worth singing about! At Christmas we celebrate Jesus – the light of the world.
