Death is the End?
1 Corinthians 15:1-11 | EV Church | 20/01/2013 | Andrew Heard
Death is the end or something happens after this life are mutually exclusive. i.e only one of these statements can be right. The essence of who Jesus was, is bound up on the afterlife. John 11:21-26 Jesus primary purpose wasn't to be a moral teacher, but to be a ransom for many so that they ord">live free in the afterlife for eternity. Mark 10:45 Believing that this life is all there is, leads to a thinking that one should pursue whatever provides the most pleasure, and one that has no morals and no justice. Perhaps ord">we ord">would rather ord">live in the despair of nothing, than to acknowledge God and ord">live under His service. Facing God on judgement day without Jesus' protection, is a fate worse than death. If there is life beyond (as claimed by Jesus), it has very serious ramifications.
