Churn is the best Friday arvo fun year 5 & 6 kids can have! Join us for epic games, tasty food, hectic Bible talks and hanging out with mates! Churn runs every Friday during school term 5-7pm at EV Church. Can’t wait to see you there!

What is Churn?
Churn is the best arvo fun a year 5 or 6 kid can have! Come along any Friday of school term for epic games, hectic Bible talks, and hanging out with mates.

Who runs Churn?
Churn is led by Lucy Hill and Ben Thomas, who together have over 25 Yrs of youth ministry experience. Lucy, a former student well-being officer, now works at EV Church, overseeing Churn & Under 5’s at 8.30.
2025 saw Ben begin his MTS apprenticeship after more than 10 Yrs volunteering in kids ministry. Lucy & Ben aim to make Churn an epic Friday afternoon of fun for your kids!
Who will be leading my child?
Churn is run by a team of highly trained volunteers who attend EV Church and all have a Working With Children Check. They are always updated on safe practices for working with kids. The team loves getting to know kids who come to Churn and are ready to have a lot of fun.
My child has food allergies, what does that mean for Churn?
We provide dinner and dessert at Churn, including dairy-free and gluten-free options. If your child has other dietary needs, please bring their food and hand it to Ben or Lucy at arrival. To get a larger understanding of our recipes, we’ll soon have an Allergen table that you can view online here.
I would like to bring my child to Churn, what do I need to know?
On your child’s first night head to the ‘new to Churn’ desk. There, we ask you to fill out a registration form, which includes basic information and contact details for emergencies etc.
