- I’m New
Welcome to EV Youth! We'd be stoked to meet you at one of our Friday night gatherings, or in a small group or on one of our camps.
Check out these pages if you're hungry for more info.
Who is Jesus?
He made huge claims. He claimed to bring life in it's fullest, forgive sins, give eternal life, set people free. He claimed to be equal with God and the rightful ruler of our lives. He backed up his claims by dying and rising again as a fact of history.
If these claims are true, they are insanely good news and demand a response. Have you looked into Jesus?
- What’s On
Every term is different at EV Youth. Most Friday nights we are at the same place doing the usual sweet stuff, but a few times each term there are special events that it's good to know about in advance.

TAMARA BOYLE – YOUTH CAMP DIRECTOR.
Why do you do Phat? I’m passionate about this age group hearing the gospel and have seen the impact of God’s word in people’s lives when they spend time in the Bible, as we do at Phat. In fact 11 young people became Christians at Phat this year, around 20 left Phat knowing they were Christians when they weren’t sure when they arrived and hundreds left having grown in their understanding of God and his plan for his people. There’s nothing I’d rather be doing with my time than being a part of that work! Humanly speaking what does it take to run Phat?
Approximately 10 000 volunteer hours
65 Youth leaders
40 Resource – setting up tents, serving food, setting up games, cleaning up meals, liaising, supervising serving in numerous ways.
5 Cooks – making 7 800 meals and 4 000 morning teas. Glyn and Jackie Kearney said farewell after 14 years heading the cooking team. We are so grateful for all they have done.

Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you is part of it. 1 Cor 12.27. Phat is a great example of this in action. There are so many things to be done so we can keep bringing the gospel to those on the Coast who need to hear it. Can you do more? Let those at the Info Desk know or contact the church office email@example.com so we can make the most of the opportunities we have.
